Friday night I ushered at the USU Football game against BYU. I don't think I have seen so many disrespectful spectators from both teams as I did at this game. I left appalled at the language and "attitude" of the spectators. I could go on for a long time about them, but I will move on.
Saturday, I spent my morning at our yard sale again...it rained all night and into most of the day, so needless to say the yard sale was a disaster. Then I spent the part of the morning and afternoon listening to General Conference and reading a book. (I am in a better your health challenge and one of our weekly challenges is to read 15 minutes a day.)I truly should have been de-cluttering more and packing, but I found a book in our bookshelf. The book is "The Secret Journal of Brett Colton". It was so touching that I couldn't put it down. I am not much of a reader and for me to find something to keep my interest, it has to be really good. I read the book every chance I got all weekend and finished the whole book by Sunday night. I highly recommend it to anyone who would like to just read a book for enjoyment. Saturday afternoon we also signed papers with the buyer of our home. As of right now, we will have everything finalized and out of the house within 60 days (if not sooner). WOW! So we put a bid on another house, it looks like we will most likely get it but there are a few things we need to work out. Our realtor told us we need to try and speed up our deal with the buyers of our house, so that we will be able to hold on to the house that we have put a bid on. So...rush...rush...rush.
Last night I spent the evening de-cluttering my room, hanging up clothes, boxing clothes...blah, blah, blah. Tonight I will be finishing up in there and starting on another room.
Back to Saturday and Sunday...listening to General Conference. I actually enjoy listening to it. I usually end up having a refreshed feeling, a feeling of starting over again., trying to do better. I can't wait for it to come out so I can reread it.
Pretty much for the next month my life will entail de-cluttering (did I mention I have over 20 years of packratting stuff) and packing, so you may not here much from me, unless anything changes.
Until then, hope you all are having a great week!
